The physical and physiological differences of the flight environment and their clinicopathological implications
are carefully considered by Air Ambulance Professionals Medical Department. Preflight patient assessments are performed
prior to every transport to determine flight altitude and cabin pressurization, as well as the type of aircraft
used.
The inventory and equipment available on all Air Ambulance Professionals flights far exceeds what is required by
the State of Florida. We always assess each case and provide the more specialized equipment required by the patient's
condition.
Air Ambulance Professionals is licensed by the state of Florida as an Inter Facility Air Ambulance Transport Service.
We are also members of The Florida Aero Medical Association, South Florida Discharge Planners, Case Management
Society of America, Florida Guardianship Association. and a voting member of the Association of Air Medical Services. |
